Cooking With Oils – Fall Favorites

$45Fall and Spring are my favorite seasons here in The Moon Goddesses Kitchen. There is such a richness to fall, the harvest season brings us an abundance of squashes, root vegetables, apples, and pears. The warm rich flavors of fall are unlike the taste of any other season. They bring with them the feel of hands warmed around bowls of thick soup on long dark nights in front of a fire, they are the scent of cinnamon and clove and rosemary for me. Fall is about slowing down and looking at the results of the years work, the seeds planted in springs hopeful long days and what they have brought to us. Fingers crossed that it will be cool enough in the ever present summer that is Los Angeles to have a fire in the fire place while we work together.

Food is our thing over here at The Moon Goddesses Kitchen. Delicious food, food that is meant to nourish the soul as well as the body. Three times a year we run an intimate cooking workshop geared to share some of our favorite recipes, tips and tricks while sharing a meal and excellent company. It’s a full meal, appetizer, salad, entree, dessert and a tasty drink all featuring essential oils in some way. Come hungry, bring questions, prepared to don an apron and get dirty. We divide up duties and eat in stages together. You’ll take home your personal essential oil infused marinating blend to bring the deliciousness home and carry on the love.
Seats are limited to 10 people for this workshop so be sure to purchase tickets well in advance.
